How do you get pleasure from setting fire to animals?. Okay I know they are vermin but still where do you draw the line. Would it be okay for me to catch a rat and see if I could blind it with my Nova Alpha 105
LMFAO!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif] [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif] [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif] [smiley=laugh.gif] [smiley=laugh.gif] [smiley=evil.gif] [smiley=evil.gif]
That was hilarious I bet it didn't smell too good after in your room ;D ;D
XG, to answer your question, yes.
Animals are not people and have no feelings. But as part of this creation, they much be respected. Kill for a purpose, and I have no problem with it. Don't do any harm to a creature without a reason, and again I have no problems with it.
I have no problems with him destroying a creature which by your own definition is naught but vermin.
I hate those things and that one got what it deserved.. ;D But no, I would not harm a rat in that way...I've has the little albino lab rats as pets and they are very intelligent and affectionate, and we all know animals can feel pain. I also would not harm other animals that way like street rats or mice. Kill the vermin yes, but with with traps and poison.. ;D
personally im not really a big fan of this at all... find more constructive things to do with your time than burn living things with your laser. I'm no angel, and im far from a PETA member or tree hugger, but I would much rather see a 20 foot match light than that.
Hmmm... It's funny to see how controversial a cockroach can be.
I knew I would get a bunch of insect sympathizers complaining about how cruel this is.
But unless you've NEVER salted a snail out of curiosity or something of that sort, you have no room to complain.
Yes I understand that it is cruel to cook a cockroach and post a video of it, and I happen to like other living creatures besides humans too (I have a dog, a monitor lizard and a California king snake and a SCORPION), but I think there is a difference between killing an cockroach and a dog (or a scorpion). My rule is: If it's bigger than my thumb, and doesn't cause me any harm it shouldn't be killed... unless it's for food.
It's vermin. Sure we don't eat them but they're insects and vermin.
I posted once in another thread asking if this would be allowed. I got something like 'there is a video on youtube of someone doing that. But they used a really big IR laser' (Not the exact words but you get the point).
Besides, it seems a couple people were entertained. Match lights get old. And the screen shots of the flames are cool.
Don't get me wrong. I am not an insect sympathiser. You have to do what you have to do to keep them out your house. What I don't do is film it or get any satisfaction out of killing them.
If it floats your boat and you get a kick out of doing this stuff all the more power to you.
Ok... I apologize to anyone who thinks this is too barbaric.
I'm sure if a moderator decides it is too offensive they will remove/edit it.
I just wanted to show off my new laser.
I OTOH find it very satisfying to destroy things which need destroying. But as they say, it takes many kinds of people in this world. And I have no problems with anyone who would rather not see any creature harmed. I may not understand that perspective, but I can accept it.
