I've build mine yesterday. This is really an epic clock
The tube seems to be a bit ill. But it is more than twice as old as me. So I am quite happy with it. The cam displays it a bit worser then you see it in real.
Next to it there is the tv b gone from adafruit too .

I have no idea about the price tag. Am I the only one who thinks this is a bit costy?

Mine was delivered this morning around 11.
I got right to building it, and it took me just about 3 hours to do.
Wiring up the tube was definitely the most time consuming part.
This little project definitely improved my soldering skills. I was sloppy at first, but by the end perfected my technique.
It's hard enough for me as it is, with my super shaky hands and all XD

It is fun to make a clock from scratch. I find the money is well spent on this project. A 1W blue laser cost more.

I don't know what the price breakdown is. There is a portion of profit. The maker isn't doing it for free.
