I bought some 1" uranium balls. It was mentioning here in this thread by TJ. :thanks:
I have paid $2 per ball which is a very good price ! The diameter is a little smaller than 1". I measure 9/10 of an inch. Still a big ball . I took some photo's in normal light and with the 500mW 405nm laser. I hope you like it.

I got some too. Also slightly smaller than 1"...

I'll be crackling them this weekend. Making a nightlight for my 2 year old nephew who spent an hour staring at my Lumia during our Halloween party.

Gonna do 3 of these, and a RGB LED board from Big Clive (who makes some cool stuff) and a few Blue LEDs - was going to use a 20mw 405nm but that's not the wisest choice for a 2 year old...
