Hi All,

Just finished doing this.

Ever since i got one of these host in and held it in my hand, it has now become one of my favorite host out there. Hands Down.

BIG THANKS to DTR for showing this Host off.:beer::bowdown:

But i had to give it my own Twist.:whistle:

It took a very long time to do this guy.:bowdown: But it did come out Awesome.:drool: So worth my time. ~10 Hours on and Off.:)

I still have a Few More Passes to go and so more on the heatsink to give it a completely mirror shine before it makes me 100% happy.:D Iam Picky.

What do you guys Think.:cool:

That's amazing man. Too bad we can't just dip these things in chrome so they always stay like this!

Any tips on how you de-anodize it/polish it? you can send me a pm if u want

I think I will have to pick myself up a Saik host or a sacredfire nf-009 :drool:

Btw what camera do you have? you take awesome videos and pics

Trevor, why would he wanna powdercoat it? I think Angelos prefers it shiny :p

You can powder coat clear... :)

Now thats a good thought. I do have a couple more on the way. Maybe clear like you suggest but also a different color. Dint think of that. Thanks. I never new you can coast clear. +:beer:

Not that i dont want to share but the stuff i use cannot be bought over the counter or even in any store. I get my stuff from a local auto body shop that deals with old cars expensive painting. Hope yo understand. Plus as talking about in many De Anodizing threads i would not share the information because it can be dangerous.

I use a Kodak Zi8. I have to get a better camera though because the one on this is not that great. I like DJNY one. Iam going to pick that one up. Cant remember what the name of it though is.:thinking:

I didnt know you could powder coat clear either, thanks for pointing that out :D

:) With a cloth and some compound. Wax on wax off. :crackup: J/k

I took a bench grinder and converted it into a polish wheel:

I like the polish :D



You can always plug the end with an old lens and give it a
'maintenance' buff once in a while to keep it clean.

Good gravy it's beautiful! Powder coat that thing clear so it's blingin' forever, man!
