Sorry I've been MIA, I went on vacation. It was a really nice vacation, and then it got better when I got back, because the day after I got home, my DX 30 come in the mail  I just thought I'd share some photos I'd been taking... I don't know how to post more than one photo per page, so I guess I'll just have 4 replies to this post with more pictures added to them.

This one I was playing with my fog machine, and my fisheye converter on my camera, I think it turned out pretty good, considering I was using a 5 mW green laser for the pics :D

And the stuff on my walls are mostly pictures or artwork I made in High School, a few were done for a college class.

These probably belong on the Spirograph page in the laser show part, but they're just pictures, so I thought I'd show 'em here instead.

This shape was almost perfect... if only my motors would syncronize... :'( I'll have to see if I can fix that in the next spirograph I build.

Just two more! I hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting so many in a row... I'll try to host my pics off my website next time...

Anyway, this one my friends told me it looked kinda like a wireframe snake, I thought it just looked trippy! ;D Enjoy!

How I made this shot was I just used the spiro, and did a long exposure, while moving the spiro around on my wall.

Last one. I think I might have blinded this spider I saw when I was on vacation... but it's a spider, so it's got eyeballs to spare. I was hoping the web would show up really green, but instead the spider kinda took up most of the shot, a happy accident.

Styropyro- I used my Pentax on this one. It was in Night mode, so the exposure was 4 seconds long. The F-stop was 3.3. The ISO was 400, and the focal length was 6.30mm. I think the 4 seconds at f-3.3 is probably what matters the most for this picture though. The Other spirograph pictures were also 4 second exposures. I'm glad you like my pics, I'll be sure to add some more when I take some more good ones. ;D

Good grief! It looks like some kind of demon appearing in the first pic. Sweet :)

Thanks guys! I'm glad you like my pics. I'll post some more, let me know what you think.

Jesse- This spider one's for you, since you like the first one, I figured this one was a different play on the idea. In fact, this is probably a different spider, these things were all over the place at the lake!

P.S. I'm kind of a noob on all this stuff (lasers, and forum posting), and was curious how I would link a photo from my website to here, I can probably post a lot more pictures if I knew how to do that. That is if my site lets me, I used iWeb, which is great cuz I don't know a thing about html...but sometimes it makes stuff kinda weird... If someone could tell me how to embed photos, or whatever it is that works best, I'd appreciate it.

This one was taken after the first picture I uploaded. It has some red in it, but I thought it looked pretty cool, so I doubt anyone will mind. It does still have lots of green in it. And for anyone who's curious about exposure, this one was 48 seconds at f5.0 with the ISO set to 1600.

One more for now ;D

I think this one makes my hair and beard look kinda weird, but it's comforting to know that I won't get beard cancer from a laser...(I wonder if anything can give you beard cancer? or if it's possible... probably not, no such thing as beard cells as far as I know). My apologies if this looks kinda creepy! ::)

P.S. And yes, that is Einstein on the calendar in the middle, to the right in the picture :D

To post multiple pix, like from your site - do this :

[_img]http://yoursite.com/picture.jpg[_/img]

And just remove the underscores in front of the img and the /img :) you can post many many pics in a row that way :)
