hwang is pretty spot on for 593.5! I've owned that wavelength and it's something im sure everyone will love. It's very relaxing to look at & if you can get a beam out of it it will blow your other lasers away! :)

Plus, it's essential to complete a rainbow!

The B&W 473s have WAY to much splatter. And the Power Supply can be picky.

Some of these exotic wavelengths is just one of the cool things about Gas lasers, you can get some of those wavelengths that you have trouble finding (or can't afford) in diode or DPSS form. HeNe lasers can easily get you 543, 594, 633. Multiline Argons will get you a host of colors and wavelengths as will Kryptons.

My 612 has coolness factor covered, but I think I like the color of the 594 better.

I'm not a wavelength hunter, but I have yet to see the 462 and 520s. Which I hear are nice.

I can't even imagine a 609 or 611 nm those must look so strange.
589 is easy to imagine cause we have yellow LPS street lights by my house.

but yeah a 589nm is what I kinda wanna get next since it's about as bright as a 532.

I'm just weary of Dragonlasers after some of the stuff I read here and they're the only ones that'll ship to the US.
