Had a foggy night awhile back, and jumped on the chance by using my pointers and getting some pretty cool beams! What you are seeing is as follows:

About 100mW of 405nm(I imagine)
4.5mW of 473nm
3mW of 532nm
3mW of 593.5
4mW of 635nm
3mW of 650nm

Enjoy! :)

Man, there's something about 473 that's just hypnotic. Definitely one of my favorite wavelengths. Nice job, really cool!

Impressed with the orange. Your Rigel is far better than mine in the cold, but I gather I have one of the earlier 594s which are so picky.

Thank you trencheel! :)

Yeah, I heard earlier 594's had stability problems and going "green" issues. I bought this from DJNY and I believe it's less than 2 years old so it's fairly new!

mine does more than "going green", it has been full on pretending to be a 532 lately, sometimes it won't lase yellow at all until I warm it up. It's always been finicky but I think it's getting tired in its old age, and I might need to get some quality rechargeables.

The good thing about mine is, when it finally does get going, the power levels are outrageous. It has a visible beam and will light a room by reflecting off the walls, which is slightly ridiculous for 594 in a pen :eg:

Thank You for the video. This is the first time I can actually understand what 593.5nm looks like. Pictures are hard for me to grasp the color but at the 1:30 mark in the video I get it. The 473nm is a fantastic color also.

Carl

Welcome! It was my pleasure :D
