After a rather long wait I finally got my X10DR in the mail today.

My Hercules+X10DR=500+mw hand held laser with excellent divergence that can be focused to burn at long range.  I can't wait for it to get dark outside.  I want to see how the expanded beam looks in the night sky and test out the divergence hitting some distant targets.

I don't have any areas in the house that are big enough to truly test out the long range burning abilities. I would need a big warehouse or something.

Imagine if you could set up a remote control drive fo focus it from afar... or you will need safety goggles / binoculars!

Maybe just try a 35 or 45 ft baseline and fire up a few matches, it will still show it to light really fast I would think.
