A few beamshots of my lasers...

Hey, as many of you all know today was the 4th of July, which is Independence day in the US. Everyone in my area was lighting fireworks, so as you could imagine TONS of smoke was produced. So.. I took my lasers outside and what I saw was unbelievable. Even the beam of my 2mW cheap red laser was visible, so I got out my 5mW 635nm pointer and my 7mW 405nm pointer (Which looks blue in the photos), and took some pictures! The lasers are much more visible then the camera makes it, but you can still see how amazing the beam was today. Unfortunately I had to send back my green laser because of a "Lens Problem", but I should be getting it back soon. The pictures were all taken with the laser pointed towards the camera, as the camera could not see the beam with the laser pointed away from the camera.

you think that's amazing? get an 803t based bluray laser ;D
WELL.. it's more amazing than anything I've seen with my 5mW pointers.....

Edit: And I am sure that the 803t diodes will be amazing! In fact, I already ordered 2 sleds from Airy's GB...

Hmm, wait a second... If my mom doesn't know what it is, then she wouldn't worry and freak out.. But somehow my brother would find out, and my brother is the type of person who wants everything his way, and he thinks that everything he does is right. So he would tell my mom, and that would be GG for me.. (My brother is even older than me, thinks that lasers are "EXTREMELY DANGEROUS" and of course he would get his right of way and spoil it for me.) This is theoretical.
My brother even "owns" the paypal account shared between the two of us (That is paid by mom's credit card) and goes through everything I buy on paypal (He tried to convince my mom not to let me buy the sleds).
Seriously though, I wish I could get that dilda laser and shine it in his eye until he leaves me alone. That would make my day. :)

Your camera picks up the beam of the blu-ray very nicely, my camera can't see the beam of a 100mW Blu-ray with a 15s exposure!

I will refrain to comment based on your apparent age LOL but just make sure your mom doesn't open the deal extreme dilda package before you do.

Hmmm...what would be worse, your mom opening a package to find a laser or your mom opening a laser to find something else? ;D ;D ;D ;D

Well of course I would open the package first, but I would really have to be secretive for anyone not to find out.... And showing my friends is half of the pleasure of having the laser. And yes, I am young. But I am as young as some other members around here ;) (Not to mention a LOT more mature than some also)

Well if my mom saw an unidentified laser that I did not tell her about, then she would get pretty mad. And when it "looks" much brighter than my other lasers, then she would confiscate it from me. I put an AixiZ module in a pen case and my brother kept on bothering me on how the laser could have been over 5mW......

Yes, It's a Kodak CX6330. Although it makes the true violet color look blue, I do have to say that it captured the beam nicely. The beam appeared really bright because of all the smoke from the fireworks. Also, how does exposure work? Theres some function on my camera, but it only goes up to two seconds.
