:crackup: that's hilarious but in my situation, since it looks like a beer and it isn't I say neg rep him. He was acting irresponsible and drank when he shouldn't. He promotes noobs to drink whether it's a beer or not.
Anyways what did HumanSymphony say, he made it 6 years ago? That's from 2004. I made that old avatar back in 2007 for the people who love me on facebook. That was 3 years ago. It was made as a joke and it sure did stir up alot of hype on the forum. Also like I said it's not a laser, my eye was simply closed that's all but because it looks like a laser I get punished? That's like if a white supremest went to the super market to get sugar and the cops saw him and put him in jail because they said it looked like crack.

i think the neg reps were undeserved and it should have been explained to you first... you obviously thought about why you were neg repped because you took the pics down.... but also you can not compare getting a neg rep for promoting unsafe laser practice to a criminal getting arrested for having sugar.

How come I can't? The pic was fake and so was that criminals crack. Anyways I'm sorry to the forum I did not know this was going to stir up alot of hype. I would not promote unsafe laser practice in any way. I care about people's safety too. That's why when I had the pic as an avatar it said "I am not shining a laser in my eye!!!!" and it had a link to this thread.

i'm a literalist... you clearly said he is a criminal.. which to me means the local cops already know him as such. so for them to pull him over and search him and find "white powder" is completely justified. after all he is a criminal and probably on probation, which doesn't give him the same rights as non criminal.

your pix showed a laser going at your face. an inexperienced person has no idea what the hell you are doing. so like i said you can't compare the 2, but you also didn't deserve the neg rep, after all you did take it down promptly.

for a noob who does not understand laser safety shining a laser in a closed eye appears to be fine, because you did it and you can still type which means you can see. You admitted that your avatar looks real, therefor it has the possibility of giving a noob the idea that it is OK to shine a laser into a closed eye. What would happen if a noob shined a DX green laser in their eye? Infared. Infared travels on a different path from the beam. That IR is going into the open eye.

And why did you neg rep me on my Member Map thread?
