Introducing:
The "Dyad of Xen"
(pronounced: "dye-add-of-ecksen")
I've been eyeing these hosts for a while. 14500 hosts are the oft-overlooked gems of China, and the Xeno line has some of the nicest around. They're not cheap, but justifiable given their remarkable attention to detail. Everything moves perfectly, and the tailcap actually uses square threading. Even the texturized knurling of the body is indented to accommodate your hand's natural grip. There is absolutely no way either host could slip from anyone's fingers
We knock China a lot, and in my mind, it isn't fair. If you're willing to spend some money, China can deliver on the quality front.
The RED:
- 635nm, 600mW, 3-element glass, Mosquito RED driver, 1x14500
The BLUE:
- 445nm, 1500mW, 3-element glass, Mosquito BLUE 1085 driver, 2x14500
They're tight builds. Both will fit good AW IMR cells, but they very much dislike non-standard-sized cheap cells (TrustFires etc). That's fine with me. I'll feel these guys good cells
