As you know the dilda runs on CR2 sized batteries. Since normal CR2s are quite expensive I was looking for rechargeable CR2s. I intentionally did not order them together with my dilda at DX, because I was planning on buying some quality CR2 rechargeables at a local store. But that proved to be a bit too optimistic. I was not able to find any Dutch (online) store that would sell them. I went to a specialized electronics store and was told rechargeable CR2 batteries do not exist... so it was back to DX after all. Ordered 4x rechargeable CR2 and an Ultrafire charger originally intended for CR123. So CR2 needs a spacer, but that's cool with me. Maybe I'll solder some extension pins on the unit when I feel like it.
Anyway the laser feels a lot more powerful with these (very cheap!) batteries. I burns ever better then before when compared to the brand new and expensive normal lithium CR2s I used before. A cd case is no problem whatsoever:

I'll do a new power measurement of my dilda with these new CR2s soon. I'm guessing it will be a lot closer to 200mW now. DX CR2s: highly recommended.
