I wonder what if i carved out  a tiny shape into black construction paper and then shine the green laser through the hole would the symbol show up? im gonna try it when i get home

Re: Dx 30, gum and old laser diffraction heads (pi

i used my computer and printed a tiny symbol (using black ink) on white paper then used my red laser to burn the black ink out of the white paper so only the symbol was left but that didn't work as good as i thought it would. My red laser actually burned the black ink out and the area surrounding it so it just turned into a hole in the paper.

so seeing as some read laser pointer heads (gold heads) that project images has a clear plastic with a tiny image inscribed into the plastic i used a exact o knife and melted a tiny Y into a thin plastic and below are the results. the picture so the green Y could be caused by the bent in the plastic and not the melted Y. I used red to circle the part of the plastic where i melted the Y in the laser was held directly in front of the melted Y. Again the plastic wasn't perfectly flat so the green y that was projected could have been a total mistake, it could have been caused by the bent in the plastic
