Dragonlasers beam expander video

Wow, tripple post, sorry guys... Having this beam expander really makes me wish I had the Spartan GW. I had a brief go with it today and near tem00 just isn't good enough for these kinds of optics. It's blatantly obvious and really messes with the effect.

BUT, it is pretty cool. Seeing a nice beam around, I don't know, one to two centimeter thick is sweet. I can't wait to see that in smoke. I still need to get used to the focusing with range and stuff like, so I still have plenty more to see, but yeah not being in a constant state of tem00 makes me realise how much better it would be if it was. Plus if I did have the GW it would be 250mW of raw power.

I'm sitting here with the Hulk (212mW) and no way to attatch it, kind of gutting. But yeah it seems a pretty decent piece of kit. My only one gripe so far is the fact that if you keep focusing and keep focusing, eventually the front piece comes off. Was a bit of a suprise when it happened I was like "No! Dust!" But it does have fastening screws so if you find a setting you like, you can keep it there and it wont knock off by accident.
