So I decided to snap a few shots of what my normal weekend consists of.
In this shot I was placing a broadband red spectrum HR in front of my 488nm SL Ar ion. I thought for kicks I'd see if I could get some red out of it. I was bored. No red, as I suspected. In the second set, I was experimenting, again, with external cavities. In this scenario, I was seeing if I could pull more than the 594 and 604 present. No dice, it was also very hard to align without a stable mounting rail or optical table.
This was also right before my second PSU died. I now have 1 PSU for HeNes, and it is the one meant for the Raman HeNe that came with it. So no dice for PSUs...
Anyway, this is a normal weekend filled with experiments, testing, research, and other gas laser shenanigans.
