yeah the woman doesn't like it. I spend about 8 hours a day on the lathe on my days off. I thought about it....how much money i could be making with a second job instead of being on the lathe....but it wouldn't be as much fun.

as far as being hooked...i just wish i had a bigger lathe! I wish i had flaminpyro's new lathe....that would be nice.

I also with drlava would hurry and ship my driver. Ordered it 5 days ago and i'm dying to see 445 light..

Hey Mohrenberg.

What about getting some nice Pool Cues/Sticks and cutting them down to where the nice a fancy part of the stick is to use for the body of the host.

With the usual cost of these custom pool sticks, you want to cut them for make laser hosts ?? :p :D

(also, usually they have lead inside, you know ? :p)

Wonder if i can find something cheap on ebay. I would love to get a wooden looking rod with some cool designs to bore out and slide a smooth 1" aluminum host into.

I think you Can find some for around 20 to 30 bucks. Not sure about the lead tho.:) But your right some cues are really expensive, But i would sacrifice a nice cue for a laser.:whistle:

^^^ I give you this link so you can see what Walmart has Because its saying there site is down. Iam sure you can find some on Ebay as well.:)

That would be some host.

LOL I was just talking about pool cues on another thread. You could probably find some cheap Chinese ones that look decent.

I'm just not sure how much time i'm going to have. My paramedic school starts Oct 5th. Class is only one day a week 9-5pm until like March of 2012, but clinical rotations are going to be time consuming. So i've only got 12 days left. Hopefully i'll find it not to be challenging at all just like everything else :D and can still spend a good amount of time with lasers.
Although the career and education to further that career must come fist.
