Custom Blue Glow Ring From "Fiddy"

Hey All,

Got my Glow Ring in today from Fiddy and man are these Even more Epic in person.:drool:

Ive got some more coming in different sizes for my different lasers and Lights but here is a New Light that i made tonight with Fiddy Custom Blue Glow Ring in there.:wave:


The Light is a 12V 75W Halogen Bulb Torch.:gun:

Iam using the NF-009 Host with my Custom Modded Polished Aluminum bezel.

Modded the Origina Pill to hold the Ceramic Cup to hold the Bulb. I also Had to drill the reflection hole larger to fit the Bulb in nicely. everything came out clean.:wave:

Runs off 3x IMR 18350 or 3x IMR 18650 "When i get the spacer in"

No Real duty cycle. Other then the cells getting Warm quick. "~2 minutes"

Specifically made to torch. Its a Novelty item. The Light is a total flood. I wanted the bulb to sit as close to the glass as possible for max Torching. If it was deeper it would become more of a flashlight then what i wanted.

IMO these are a Hit. I think this will make any light or even laser look that much cooler.

Imagine adding tridents in the mix too.>>

Ive got blue ones coming. Mine came with Green glow washers that you can normal buy like at DX or something but tHey dont glow as long and as clean. Its nothing like the ones that fiddly makes thats for sure. The ones i have are just regular glow washers. Iam going to replace everything with these from Mitch. He better get ready for me.:crackup:

It's expensive too! I was going to buy some, but after seeing the price, was glad to find out that Mitch would make custom Glow-rings!

It's not that expensive. It is if you only have one thing to make glow, though.

I think it was very inventive of Fiddy to use o-tubes as a holder for the glow powder. Most people would go straight to the idea of molding o-rings with embedded powder, but if you have particles of powder on the edges of the rings you lose your seal.

I modded the crown on it and re did the insides with the Halogen bulb. "Direct Drive"

Its bright but purely flood. I made it to burn stuff so i wanted the Bulb as close to the window as possible. I have yet to try and burn anything because iam waiting for a new window replacement and lens. "It Cracked the glass" I think because it was super cold outside and when i flicked it on, i guess the temperature difference was so quick the glass window dint like that.:shhh:
