Is there a way to coat the host so that it keeps the copper look without the darkening tarnish? Like a clear finish?

No clear finish unfortunately, the ones I tried were very temporary and very easily scratched/removed, But I am offering powdercoat (black,matte and white,mirror) and Ni-Plating this was discussed over at the presale thread aswell.

I think the bare copper will look great as a patina develops over time. Can't wait to get my single 10440 host! I still have to decide what will go in it, though...
