I found that video pretty interesting, I wish I could do something like that with an ir laser or a bluray.

Also wish I knew what the liquid was.

Its not fluorescing, it is a chemical reaction triggered by uv light.

By the looks of it, some transparent compound reacts into a green one with the help of energy from uv fotons, and readily decomposes back to the transparent one by itself.

I'd love to know which compounds they are using, nice find!

It's not fluorescing. It's not emitting light, it's just changing color - like an LCD.

I think he means the youtube title. ::) I believe the phenomenon is called photochromism.Just like those eyeglass lenses than turn darker with exposure to UV.The change is probably way faster within the liquid :-/
