I'm finally getting somewhat decent at taking good beamshots.

Laser: SKY Lasers 300mW w/ Tripod from SKY. All the original pics are from here:
Laser Pictures

But in case you're too lazy to click a link, you can see them below. Click on them for a full size (2592x1944) image.

Hey jwc, careful with the camera, it seems you have many hotspots. Also, nice beamshots ;)!

Are you referring to the little dots that appear on dark images? That's not the result of lasers; for whatever stupid reason, this camera model has those defects (I went on a trip to Rome with the camera and was rather upset to see a damn green spot in all of my pictures when I got back. When the store gave me a new camera, it had the same issues, but the spots were smaller).

Also, most of the spots in the last picture are stars. :p

I'm going to get a bumper sticker for you that says "My laser blinded your honor student"

Because I like your laser, and I think it has the potential to blind small children ;)

Nice beamshots you got there..I love the second to the last picture, it looks so classic. Was it pointed up to the sky?

The last one was, yeah. I realized that the laser must have wobbled or something because there's a slight streak to the left. The second to last is just pointed at some bushes in our backyard.

Hahaha, I'd definitely put that on my dorm door. I made this sign a while ago:

I'm planning on cutting it out of sheet metal or acrylic and lighting it up with LEDs when I get a chance.

very nice pictures. but i am an anti-full laser-purchaser (i would never buy a complete laser online) i only buy parts (laser diode, driver...). if i want something, i have to build it. i remember how i always wanted a burning laser...i thought it was something out of science fiction...and i stumbled upun wicked laser.com...they made me think that the average price for laser was $1000+. i had no were near that amount of money. so i began to study them online, learn how it works and then i found this website. it was like stricking gold. i realized that making laser is very cheap, my cheapest was about $60, and i could sell them for $200+(i base the price on the mW on the laser). the pic i posted was my 1st blu ray build.
