yep, mine are the same way... not a very nice beam, but tighter than I expected from these kind of diodes.

wow thats soo cool! Though thats the only reason i don't wanna buy one, they have really crap beam specs.

my buddy had a old vhs cam recorder i pulled it apart and used the auto focus assmbly here a pic

Whoa cooooool!!!!! It went all the way through....who cares about the crap beam specs, it's perfect for short distance burning, especially when you have an auto focus feature....How well does that work? Does it magicly adjusts the focal point to the ready to be burnt object's distance??

That would be so cool.....

Oh and I have to say that the title has really nothing to do with the content of the post....I don't really care about the weekend,I have a 10 month vacation
