Je ne comprende pas très bien... er, I mean not really... :-[ Just the stuff I learned in High School and enough to order food and beer in Quebec. J'aime poutine!!! ;D

It's an advantage to be bilingual up here. All sorts of plum Government jobs open up if you speak English and French. I just find it handy for swearing a bit more discreetly on forums... :D

haha, i only chose french because it might be thought of as romantic, even though they are both romance languages, also, i think french is easier :eek:

I have no idea how much I butchered that sentence , I only speak enough spanish to understand it.I know 3 foreign languages , and my own. :p

I'll mayday in dutch if ever hit by a laser from the ground whilst on an airplane.. or indonesian, or something else noone will understand. Gotta love communciation ;p

it must be really hard to keep a laser on target at that range (please dont ban them so i can get one next time im on holiday :D)

Seems like yet again the media spinning things to sound like a newsworthy story. A major airliner landing in a major airport is going to land via ALS. The computers land the thing. If someone with a pointer has a good enough computerized tracking system to track a 500 MPH plane for more than a fraction of a second, then yeah the pilots need to learn to not look at lasers so they won't spill their coffee while the computer is landing the plane for them. Now there still needs to be a law against this, as many airports don't have ALS and smaller planes don't have ALS, but still, I just hate how the media always twist things...
