That's intense. I'm guessing about 70mW?
How visible is the beam/spot compared to 5mW of green?

It's not anywhere near 70mw's. Remember I said I was able to light a match by applying only 55ma's to it? If I recall correctly the output was in the 15 to 20mw range. Lighting a match with only 20mw's is very strange indeed.. ;D And this is in one of the small aixiz modules...I did not use any other lenses.

Ive noticed that these will collimate INCREDIBLY well! Mine is about 1mm when focused at 15 feet away... red diodes wont do this as far as I know, my red is much larger. I cant wait for the 250mw br's!! :D

Yeah that is a ddl diode, and it is probably closer to 35mW than 70mW.

Hmmm... 20mW lighting a match? How do you explain that? I need diodes!
I remember seeing a post about a DIY blu-ray collimated to about (I think it said) 0.1mRad. I was impressed.

I can't wait either. It is really hard to determine the power of a lot of my red/purple lasers based on visibility so this will really help me out. They said it would ship out by the 18th at the latest. Seems like a while but as long as I get it by the end of the month I am happy.
