So, I was bored tonight and had my Viasho labby fired up. I decided to take some pictures. After the first photo, there's a small amount of smoke in the air from burning things. You'll see why.
This is the head, PSU, and the Vanilla Coke can I was using as a beamstop, so as to not catch things on fire by accident.
The Viasho at ~1.5W through one of LarryDFW's lenses. That focal point is pretty scary. It's around 0.1 or 0.2mm in diameter; the power density's nuts.
This is just the head, still running at 1.5W.
This is my newly cleaned Metrologic 855 outputting 5mW. I like the blue discharge - though I'm not sure that's normal (ahh, so it is; thanks guys), as I can't see into the aperture of my other HeNe. The red construction paper was for cutting down on green reflection to get better shots (we lacked black). I liked the shots without it better.
I turned the Viasho down to 2-3mW to get this photo. I like it...
And lastly, all three wavelengths I have. Forgive the lens flare, this was the best of the batch - though I think it's pretty cool looking.
Cheers!
