Re: Awesome laser pics

Nice work! +1 It's a surreal picture with that tree and the timed exposure. :)

Thanks.
Lately I've been busy all day, so the only time I have to shoot is at night. I figured I'd make the most of it and make some neat long exposure shots.
There isn't enough yellow laser media in this section anyway... I, for one, can never get enough of that yellow beam!

Re: Awesome laser pics

Wow the 589nm is striking. I like the contrast between the cool blue and the warmth of the yellow.

That looks like a nifty tripod/clamp setup holding your Frankenstein green as well. What sort is it? I've been looking for something like that.

Agreed

Re: Awesome laser pics

WOW! what did you use to bring out the beam in the last pic?
That looks amazing!

Re: Awesome laser pics

I went out tonight for some late-evening beaming and came indoors to try out some high-speed shots... here are the results:

This is my DIY 200mW greenie lighting up a match. This photo was taken at the moment of ignition.

Love all these photo's...great job and thanks!
This one for me really caught the moment as you said.

Re: Awesome laser pics

Probably blew on the beam. If it's cold enough to see you breath if you lightly blow in the direction the beam is pointing you can get some cool effects as the fog from your breath travels down the beam. I have some similar pics from my 445 somewhere.

Re: Awesome laser pics

I love stumbling across laser pictures, nice job! +1

The tripod I use is this one:
DealExtreme: $4.90 Compact Mini Plastic Tripod for Digital Cameras

I even reviewed it some time ago. Can't find the link...
But it's a pretty decent mini tripod for the price and is stable enough to hold a PGL with the clamp.

Here is a link to the clamp:
DealExtreme: $2.71 Universal Clamp Mount for Tripods (Holds up to 3.8cm Thick Objects)

@DJNY and Flaminpyro:
Great pictures! :kewlpics:
