It's been a while since I've seen a balloon pop video.
Ever since Class IV became the new Class IIIb, it's been all about CD cases and match sticks.

+1 for nostalgia. :pop:

Coolest balloon thick I've done is an arctic water ballon pop. You should definitely try it. I love popping balloons with lasers. :D

Added pics to OP. and a water balloon pop vid. Once my slo-mo camera get fixed I'll get this in 210, 420 and 1000 frames per second, it's gonna be awesome. I had a huge collection of slo-mo videos but they all got deleted. I had around 100. :(

Update: just tried to cut a tooth pick and it took 22 seconds from 5' away, with the divergence at infinity, which is a nice 1.33 mRad. I'll upload a video if anyone wants but it's just a toothpick smoking...

That will be so cool on high speed. I always wanted one of those casio exlims but could never justify the money

It was and X-mas present for me. :) I shot a water balloon with a BB gun and that was very cool. Once you get to 1000 FPS the quality is pretty low, but still, you are shooting at 1000 frikkin FPS!

I was thinking of, once I get my camera back, starting a "request" thread, where you give me ideas for my slo-mo camera and I film it. Anyone interested?

show me a video of you lighting a match inside of a clear soda bottle :D.

Distance would be nice but is not necessary :)

Ok, wont be slo-mo as my camera is still getting fixed. Also it might be a while as I'm out of matches ATM, but I will put it on the list.
