Many keys onto my NOTEBOOK keyboard are broken since magnesium got onto it two days ago. I have to Copy & Paste lot of keys I cant use from other words on the internet. I am going to update and rely as soon as I get my USB keyboard from AMAZON.

Inconsistency is the word for this lasers. And 80% IR is just unacceptable.

I forward John this thread a few days ago and mentioned that two pens never reach the 50mW, even not with the >50% IR in them. One of the others is bad aligned, and has a TEM 01 dot. Hope he replies soon.
 
good review! I still think these lasers are better than the ebay pens because half of them don't even work after a few hours of use.
 
do you have an ebay laser you can compare to them?

Im slightly surprised at how much IR output there is but not very. They dont have an IR filter and even decent greenies are often only 30% efficient. So if its outputting 50mW total then its pumping more than 50mW IR and hopefully 30% of that becomes green so 15mW 532nm and then a lot of IR will just pass through without a filter.

Your results are as should be expected
