I just love tickling the clouds.
And in the 7th pic, I noticed glasses are on the table. A while ago I remember a couple of the big names around here talking about how they didn't use their glasses when pointing it at a wall several feet away. I spent my first month with my 1.4w 445 without ever seeing the color in person.
Just got me thinking.

Loving the exposure shots. Did you ever try heating up glycerin to get a nice fog? That can make even a walmart red laser visible! But if you wear contacts it can irritate them :/

Hi, thanks for the feedback. The glasses on the table are not the laser saftey glasses, they are some cheap 3D glasses that I was burning.
And no I have not tried heating glycerin but now that you told me I will try it out :)

Very nice pictures. Is the beam as visible to your eye as it is on camera? I'm waiting for my survival laser to arrive and I'm curios. I'm sorry if it's a noob question.

First of all, do you have eye protection?
Well, the beam through goggles is just visible but yes it is visible to eyes as it is on camera, and IMHO, it is even nicer (looks like a light sabre)

NOTE: When looking at beam when it is pointing up, it is OK to not use glasses (and mind you, only when the end of the pointer is higher than you). I use glasses when indoors (to avoid reflections to eye, not that outdoors they cant happen, but it is more likely to reflect indoors) and when burning. Anyway, I still carry glasses with me, even if outdoors
