Here's a small demonstration of my Spartan 1W, similar to my Arctic video. However I show my Arctic lens's attached! (I didn't have these when I made my Arctic video)
This is BY FAR much better than the Arctic, and it even appears more blue!

Edit: Maybe my ad block is blocking it because it is in your post. If anyone else is having the same problem here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AM7MJd_jjdM

nice, how is the dot and beam on the spartan? I might buy one, but might get the 400mw version instead since its better for pointing with its round dot

Added the link in the original post.

Up close it looks like the typical "dot" but at about 15 feet it turns into a very thin focused line (allowing it to burn better) just a little bit wider than the upclose "dot" (assuming your dot is facing horizontal), this can only be seen when wearing goggles. And beyond that it will start to diverge and become larger. I'm pretty satisfied with it. I will have to set it outside sometime with my 532nm spartan and compare both divergences.

Might as well get the 400mW version, it's just a lens that cuts it off turning it into a dot. I'm not sure if this lens can be easily screwed out and back in, but it would be a nice feature if so.

Where can I buy a line generator optics, that are made from glas? It would be wonderful with smoke.
