I now have 2 of these awesome lasers. I love them. They make a >200mW hand held laser look like a 20mW laser by comparison. I have been burning the crap out of things today and decided to make a video to show it off. If anyone would like any other videos of this please tell me of what and I will post them. I measured them both but my meter only goes up to 1 watt. They are both doing well over that. I still haven't even cranked them up all the way.

I am going crazy over here. Is it just me or is this video playing in slow motion.

I don't hear any clicking sound when I view the video, just a crappy movie in the background. when I watch the video though I sound like a robot at the beginning when I speak. I don't sound like a robot to anyone else? I am going to upload this video somewhere else and repost.
Also: I haven't tried popping any balloons yet so I am not sure. ;D

okay, I uploaded the video to Metacafe, It seems to be working fine now. I am not going to be using imageSHAT for my video anymore as I keep having problems with them. Hopefully this has gotten rid of the clicking. The Slow motion is gone as well, but I guess I was the only one who was experiencing that.

works fine now and damn, 1 watt of green - i would imagine you're going to be adding some galvos to that laser?

So where's the metacafe link? I didn't even hear your comments because I turned off the sound because of the clicking.It was just like "click click click click click click click click click click ...." and louder that everything else.

And yea, maybe it won't pop balloons, just burn the pigment and make a tiny clear spot on the balloon. ;D I know ForthyChimp had a video of a powerful green that did that to a blue balloon.It was awesome.
Anyway, I would like to see how fast it can pop popcorn :D

Switch- I put the link in the first post of the thread. I haven't tried popcorn yet. Shouldn't be too hard. I love these lasers. Your post count is at 1111 only 1111 more post and you'll be at

Mariomaster- You are right about that. I am going to use my 2 scanpro 20'S with the two 1 watts. I am currently waiing for my FB3 controller and Lastudio software from pangolin so I can have something to feed into the scanner.

Is there anyone in the Ca bay area with a meter that goes over 1 watt?

Didn't notice that, and somehow didn't thought of it...oh well.Metacafe works way better for me.Bigger image too.

Nothing was meant by the 1111 comment, I am just a dork and like it when numbers line up like that. Every night and morning at 11:11 get a little excited.

anyone that has a kenometer would be able to measure your lasers, i'd do it for ya but i live on the other coast :-/

Wow, awesome! :D Almost instant flame :p The beam is really really bright too! Was there any atmospheric junk in the air?
