vibration solution?

this is just a thought of mine because i had very poor positioning when it came to gluing my mirrors to my motors. so what i was wondering is would it be possible to say, make the base for the motor be nothing but hot glue, a mound of it, and in the mound of glue maybe drill or melt (w/e) some holes to absorb the shock of the vibrating motor. idk maybe like some sort of makeshift shock absorber for the motor. i haven't been able to test this theory out yet because i still cant even get the circuit soldered right, but when i do I'll definitely try this out to see if its plausible.

I think that would make it even worse... or is that what you want? more vibration or less?

i was thinking less vibration like the holes cause it to lose vibration. maybe hot glue is too hard for what I'm thinking, maybe liquid electrical tape would be better

just bolt it down to a piece of wood or metal.... your "shock" idea will make it worse... i expect.. :p
Just secure it tightly, that should do the job....
Or go the opposite way and make it more unstable :D makes really cool patterns then!
