If you or anyone else can figure out how to crack the license I will give you a free one. Honestly, I don't even know how I could hack it myself and I created it. So, if someone can figure out how to do it I'd be very interested in how. It would be very cool to know from a programming standpoint.

And that is one reason why I would never do business with you. A personal disagreement between you and him should not invalidate him from any updates for software that he paid for that everyone else still receives.

A piss poor decision if you ask me, just like your last minute decision to kill spaghetti and bring it back within a 24 hour period :rolleyes:

You have to make licenses somehow, therefore someone just has to figure out how to do that themselves. It's a pretty common thing for pirate software to come with keygens or license generators. They grab the PC's key and generate the license file in the same way you do.

If you are talking about CFs arduino DAC then it will already run with Spaghetti from what I understand from discussions with him. It's a cool project but still inferior to the sound card DAC in terms of quality due to the very limited number of bits. But, if he can increase it to 8 bits that would be awesome. I'm sure that as it is it blows the sound card DACs away in terms of easy of configuration, though.

When a supplier uses the "character" of a customer to decide
whether or not he should be allowed to purchase or have his
product... something is amiss...
Either the product is for sale with customer support or it is not..

A product for sale is not a child up for adoption that you decide
who should have it...

Just my opinion... but the more I read the more I see this..:undecided:

Is it just me or did he just revoke a license to software that someone purchased without giving a refund?

EF sent me multiple PMs and emails with personal insults. I NEVER said a word to him of such nature. So, I simply blacklisted him from future updates that he didn't pay for.

When you buy Spaghetti you get a license that has the current version number embedded within in. The license grants you persmission to run that version forever. Any updates that I decide to release and grant to users who bought previous versions is up to me. EF can still use the versions of Spaghetti that he paid for. But, I refuse to give him any future work that I do since he didn't pay for it.

carmangary, whats the point to give someone a legit copy of your software if they have it cracked?
Am i missing something?

No sorry. Your decision to remove my licenses shows your character, and it was entirely because of my opinion. I'm not always a nice guy, I'll give you that though. That's why I was banned from PL, but I was trying to be banned. I would never have stopped rocking the boat over there. I've never been banned from any other forum, group, anything. Weird huh? Maybe it's because I have real problems with things I've seen there. You took something that I paid for from me without there being any violation of the user agreement. Now, you can continue going on and on, but only one of us has taken, no, stolen, something from the other. No matter what, that will always give me the high ground.

I've been away for 3 months, and I have no intention of sticking around. It's completely expected that the people I've gone after in the past wouldn't like me much, but fortunately for me what you think or say about me doesn't matter to me in the slightest. All the best Gary.

Because cracks are temporary. If someone cracks it I will find out about it and adjust for it and then their crack will be no good.

Wrong. For the very same reason you can't pull EF's license completely and lock him out of his purchased software. You might be able to patch updates, but not previous versions.

You still have your Spaghetti licenses and they still will work with the versions you paid for. I didn't steal anything from you.
