Has anyone tried the audio input feature?? It hardly does anything more than demo/test mode. My Lanling RGY does better than this.

when i had the microphone connected, it seemed to only advance thru the built-in animations everytime i hit the table (as the microphone was sitting on it lol)

dont know much more than that

Screw the Mic.  I'm capacitor coupled from line output.  The pot works to adjust level but the show is crap.  It syncs with the music but a HOHUM display.
Even the Lanling CL-16RGY knows when the music stops.  This is a poor attempt at an audio input display.  I'm working my way up to ILDA and this was to be a rainbow audio show on my way.

fyi dont expect much from audio synced lasershows you have to pay some big bucks to get anything even decent.

this is a very low cost dmx system that has its minimum features a tiny extra bonus

I got my Lanling RGY for about $250. It gives a nice show with music input. Not great but nice.

I have $$$ in this RGB and it is POOP with music input. A whole rainbow of color but little else. The galvo system works good and I have the TTL blanking fully opperational but I'm not ready yet to make the JUMP to DAC.

yes sir you can :)

its completely analog :)

i couldnt find any good examples of my on at the moment but here is a shot from using laserboy with a sound card dac

laser_08.jpg

as you can see the inner squares are full power and the other squares are about 1/2 the power.

but i can also do single color raster scans and how it works is it changes the power (modlates it) and gives it different tints of green
