Doesn't sound too shabby.

Though, most of us here build scanners rather than buy them, so I wouldn't know, lol. What's the price tag?

RGY is easy to build.. and WAY cheaper than whatever your gonna pay

100-150mw green from ebay is 150$
300 mw red is easy to build with a Drlava flexMod and a diode from a dvd burner (you will need heat sync)
for the scanner get a scanpro 20 (i have heard from friends that the can run 30kpps with no problem)
build a baox and get a 12"x12" peice of aluminum plate from ebay
and you could builf it yourself for under a grand...

Scanners are appallingly cheap on eBay. I've seen RGY scanners on eBay for a few hundred dollars.

Thats pretty good, it depends what kind of thing you want it for. The unit you posted there is more of a plug and play, you won't be able to make your own effects and such with it.
