if anyone has a scanner kit besides the dt40 and scanlsp 20 kit can you tell me the measurements from the bottom of the galvo block to the center of the bottom mirror(where the beam enters)? im trying to get some heatsinks made that will be kind of universal and i need the measurements before i can proceed. thanks!

scanpro series
scanlsp
dt25
etc...

What if your laser bounces off of the top mirror first? ;)

what most people do is add tiny aluminium plates under laser modules to build the height up to what ever they need.

I'll try to measure mine when I get home.. I'm fairly sure it's a universal thing, with only minor differences between makes.

I will try to locate something to measure with and then I can give you some measurements for the DT25 :)
Do you want it in Imperial or US customary measurements?

DT25 measurements:
Bottom of block to middle of bottom (X) mirror: 3cm
Bottom of block to middle of top (Y) mirror: 3.5cm

Those are as exact results as I could get using the ruler on my Leatherman :p
It may be 2.95cm for X and 3.45cm for Y, but I believe the above are correct (and easier to work with too).

Please say if you need me to measure something else!

Seb

EDIT: Please note that this is using the small (3mm beam) mirrors. I do not think the 5mm beam have a different placement in the block but you can never say never ;)
