Default LASER RICKSHAW

My friend and I are making a laser rickshaw. We need to make an overwhelming (at least impressive) mobile laser show, mounted on a rickshaw. The main thing we're going to have trouble with is wiring all these lasers together- we will either use many small laser pointers pointed at disco balls, or a few large ones- ideally these will be controlled by buttons inside the rickshaw, accessable by the passenger. Has anyone ever made any sort of Multi-laser setup connected to a battery? Any general advice or tips in regards to a couple of utter beginners experimenting with focused light technology? Any input at all is appreciated.

Thanks

Default Re: LASER RICKSHAW

How strong can a laser be before it's a risk to delicate retinas?
We'll either use a bunch of 5Mw modules or one/two 35mW modules- fired through diffraction gratings/prisms/etc. I'd like to use a more powerful beam, but also don't want to cause unnecessary eye damage. A combination would be ideal- some fired skyward to mark the landing site.
