well no wonder it gets no rave reviews-- the cheap REKEs in spite of some dropsellers describing them as 'Full Color' are of course TTL-

aside from the features we both have mentioned there are more. The Pangolin Site takes quite a while to see all thats there- They have a PFD Owners Manual on=line (get used to that... BTW as paper manuals are going away) the tutorials, demo, drivers and more are there too. The SW CD can be copied but GL using it w/o the Flash Back 3.

yes, in essence, the DAC is actually the dongle. Quickshow will only recognise it, not other DACS.

edit: and the dac is said to be around $80 worth of parts. Its the software and content that your buying - the dac just enables the software, and connects it to your projector.

Thought you guys would like to know I got iShow 2.31 to work with Windows 7/32-bit without using an XP VM.

I got hardware labelled 2.3, with a CD labelled 2.31. I had the same problem installing the driver...

But I noticed there was a driver folder in the iShow (English) install on the C: drive. When I pointed the Unknown Device to this driver, it worked.

hi neofree,
my "stand alone" controller for my laser light laser had corroded after 7 years of club use. I decided to get the latest version of ishow & leads to run the laser.
After getting a laptop (cheap but solid) with Win7 (32 bit). i am having the usual (from the amount of posts) problems with the drivers. (failure on installing ishow)

please could u do a step by step instruction of how i should be assigning the driver to the device (sorry not super tech on computer, but can follow a superb instruction manual).

and i am getting is the full beam on the bottom left of projected area of laser, no reaction from ishow...and an increasing need to throw myself or laser and laptop through the window.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

neil

My Win7 won't run any laser programs. I dosen't appear to support 7.1 audio programs. I'm waiting to get my computer reloaded back to XP.
