How can i extend a laser projector?
Screw a alluminium plate on it so i can put more stuff in there?
My dad can cut a plate with a laser at his work so sizes are easy to get.

Need some more options to consider because it will probaly not look to beautiful..
And a new case will be expensive plus alot of work.

Il have to find a solution though:/

Maybe extend to above instead of sideways?
4pillars, screwable, then on top a strong alu plate?

Maybe get a strip of the same thickness alu plate and securely bolt it on both plates. It wont flex if it has support inside your projector case.

Sorry, first of all ..... "extend" in what sense ?

Do you need just to fit one on something large, and you need to "extend" the fitting brackets/hooking points ?

Or do you want to "extend" the scanning and effects possibilities adding optics inside it ?

Well, it can be done, hooking a plate in front of the beam exit, but for sure it's not an aesthetical solution (and expose the galvos to "accidents" possibility) ..... the better one is still get a new case with more space, for this.

EDIT: another possibility is to substitute the actual galvos with a turning mirror, and "hook" in front of the original case a second metal box containing the new galvos ..... still not too much aestherical, but at least in this way the new galvos are enclosed and protected.
