I an a newbie in the laser field and English is my second language so forgive me if i have any mistake 
I am going to build a laser project by myself. Due to the limitation of my budget and safety regulations, I am not allow to use lasers which have power higher than 5mW. I have some questions, could you guys pleas to help me.
1. Can I take a laser diode from a laser pointer ( which used in presentation) and build an TTL blanking driver for it? ( I do not understand that to turn on and off a laser diode very very quickly about 10kHz it is depended on the laser diode or driver or both of them)
2. Can you guys recommence for me a driver which can turn on and off my laser about 10kHz?
3. I am going to use a 20Kpps laser scanning galvo scanners, is there any relation between 20kpps and the on/off frequency of laser dirver?
