Well, Dave from LSP is a fucken awesome guy. I got a new green module tested @ 180mw!!!

This thing is a beast. It started to burn my silver coated computer subwoofer box!

This thing has a tiny footprint on the head itself. The PSU is kinda large, but its not very deep, which is good!

I don't have any beam shots as of yet (Camera is totally useless at them without fog), but I can clearly see the dot on the clouds, and mountain behind my house!!

I may get some more pix if the camera decides to play along.

The CNI turned out to be a dud, and is wayy underpowered. Take a look at this pic, and you may see why

Thats the c-mount pump diode. looks nice and toasty!

The CNI is being sent to BlueFusion, he is gonna have a crack at getting it going again, though with this new module i'm not too worried!

And here it is ....

Yes, I got the laser for a "discount". Can't really say much more than that sorry :p

Yeah the PSU is built into the black box, I just wired a power cord directly into it for now.

I believe the new head is a "lasercentury" (spelling may be wrong).

Its one of these http://www.lasercentury.com/product.asp?id=3

My power supply doesnt have a fan, but I just added one cause I could  :D

I'll try grab some beam shots with this and my open can red tonight. I need my 600mw red module now! This open can is no match for brightness with this guy!  :D

EDIT: Forgot to mention, one of the mirrors came off on my galvo' No damage done to the mirror or galvo's its just annoying. I need to grab some epoxy and glue it back on, so its only beam shots for now unfortunately  :(

EDIT: Bah my camera is flat, so now I need to try find the charger. lol what a pain.

I dunno what they sell for these days. Lets just say, Dave had one as old stock he needed to get rid of, and wanted to make up for the faulty CNI.

Heres some beam shots. No PS or long exposures, all straight from the camera! No fog either  (Couldn't find my fog machine remote lol)

I dont need no fog for beam shots :p

Will get alot more one my scanner is going again, which may even be tommorow if the mirror can actually hold itself in.

The mirror on my Y galvo came loose from the glue. Its not broken though, which is good. What I meant, is that the leftover glue on the galvo, is enough to hold the mirror in, even while its in action. i am gonna grab some epoxy and glue it back one day, but for home it works OK.
