Well, since I was bored tonight, I decided to throw my new >100mw module, AND the old 40mw module into the scanner to see what it looked like. The result, an exact copy! It was almost like a 2 head scanner, but used 2 lasers instead of seperate motors. There isnt actuall ymuch of a diff between the 40mw and he 100mw. I think the 40mw is quite overpowered!

Anyway, I am actually considering including this in my final laser!

What do you think?

P.S, in the vid there was no blanking on either lasers, since I need to build a TTL amp for the 100mw, and I couldnt be bothered wiring up the 40mw TTL lol

Dick Smiths about 4 years ago lol, I got my fog machine when I was about 10....

It was like $100 at the time, but its all metal, and a damn nice machine I must say lol

I dont know if they still have the old style that I have, there are these new cheaper looking ones lol

use a cloth iron and then buy some glycerin from the pharmacy and then mix it with 5 parts water and 1 part glycerin

Damn, I cant find any room to mount the 2nd laser :'(

I guess i'll just stick with the 1 untill I can get a bigger case :-/

its a fun idea. i have seen it done before.

try putting another color through it like a red or blue

Done it!

I managed to squeeze 2 green lasers in the 1 case!!

Camera is flat ATM, but will get pics very soon!

The beam setup. The 40mw laser bounces of a FS mirror, onto the galvo's.

The CNI shines straight onto the galvo's, which results in 1 pattern ontop of the other.

The 40mw labby is wired up to the RED TTL output, and the CNI is on the green TTL output. Over DMX, if I just want 1, i'd just set it to the laser I want (like green, red), or if I wanted both, i'd set it so red and green was on.
