Hi all, just want to put the word out that we will be having another FLEM on 3/31/2012 in Tavares, FL (just outside of Orlando, FL). If you enjoy lasers then you are welcome to attend! There will be loud music so earplugs are recommended. There will be tons of laser shows and plenty of time to talk shop regarding laser projector gear as well as lasers in general, including pointers. Awesome! Who is attending? anyone yet, or are you just now posting the info? I would drive down from Ohio if alot of people came. :wave::wave::wave::wave::wave::wave:

FLEM is a relatively small event, typically we have about 15 to 20 folks show up. And the venue isn't much really, kinda small but we get it for pretty cheap and can fog it up good. Right now we have about 8 or 9 signed up to attend. SELEM is the big event and held annually in Newton, NC. I think SELEM is going to happen on Aug 17th, 18th and 19th this year. We rent a large 500 seat auditorium and the past 2 years we've had over 70 folks attend. This year will be the 6th SELEM.

If I was still soakin up rays down there, I'd definitely be in on this! Anything in Europe or the Western US? (places I could be stationed that don't get SELEM or FLEM.)

Not sure about Europe, I know they have a regular event somewhere in the UK (UKLEM). For the west coast there have been a couple, but I don't think anything on a regular basis. The FLEM's aren't regular either, we sorta have them a couple times a year about every 4-6 months or so.

I think right now we are looking at about 15 folks attending, some with lasers and some without. I'll be there with my beast! >:) Dual scan head Argon/Krypton Ion laser projector - YouTube

I might head up for this. That's about an hour and a half away on the bike. Anyone south coming, possibly on motorcycle by some awesome chance?
