DO you REALLY like to watch laser shows????

You have seen them on TV- YouTube- and in person.
BUT Imagine this- ~15+ hours of state of the art shows--in a private setting- and getting to meet the pros and see thier (often DIY) full color projectors.

More good things happen at SELEM than I can describe here.


AND........ SELEM is the grandaddy of them all. SELEM V is only~10 weeks away.

WANT to go but can't-----WHY not-???

I know what you are feeling-:shhh:- when I see thread about upcoming LEMs across the big pond such as UKLEM I wish I were rich and could just attend every damn one of them. Last yr at SELEM I saw more laser shows and projectors in 48 hrs than all my combined experiences. And to be able to do it in a private setting and to meet the projector owners and in many cases builders .:bowdown:...priceless.

Upon returning last Aug from SELEM IV I was so stoked that I rented an old dusty warehouse in November and held the first ever SoTEXLEM. A massive crowd of 15 attended :crackup:and thourghly enjoyed a 7 hr. laser show put on for free by three guys I had never met until SELEM IV. :thanks:ADAM:thanks:Jonathon:thanks: Mark(or was it Mike?)-- I came to the conclusion that any LEM even with just two attendees is a good LEM. I can never thank Platinum and 300 EVIL(& his Dad) for impressing he crap out of my friends-WE partied til 3 am,:beer::beer::beer:


I had a very poor turnout due to the short notice( The guys were only in Houston on short notice for one night on other biz) and most of my friends had other commitments- two b-day parties ( at bars no less:beer::beer and big cookoff.:beer: Many who said the would come after could not--too 'tired' yea!... beer tired.
Next SoTEXLEM will be much bigger and I will have my own projectors by then.:na:And a big advance notce too.

LEMs are held often and all around the world-- never pass one up. :tsk:never!

Ask Dave if he enjoyed SoCalLEM.

On PL(you dont have to join to lurk) in thier 'meets n greets' board the LEMS around the world are listed months before they happen.

You dont have to own a projector to come and watch but.... fair warning going to a LEM may change your feelings about pointers and handhelds.
To be able to do beam shows and animations from your PC(or Mac) is a priceless feeling.

Its not too late to try to make SELEM V just copypasta the OP and fill in the blanks-- somebody near you may already be planning on attending.:evil:

I'm trying to find a LEM in northern Ca. If I'd known about SoCaLEM, I probably wouldn't have been able to pack up the wife & kids for a road trip AND take time off of work. If you can find a link or any info anywhere near San Fran or Sac, please let me know.

Best Design so far David.. we are down to ~50 Days-- at this point last year a larger majority had commited and sent in thier $$.
It would greatly help if those wanting to go would contact Adam(buffo) or PM me and I will relay for you.

Hakzaw1 count me in next year for sure! Unfortunately I wont be able to make it this year because of my vacation being practically during the event :[. Unless someone wants to visit me at the outer banks
