Right.. I bought a Flexmod 1 drive from drlava (still on its way) can't wait for it!

Then it hit me this week, something my grandfather tought me, basically if it cost too much BUILD IT! ;D not that the flexmod costs too much, quality costs money, its just too much for me, student and all..... :P

So I am building a TTL Driver using a DDL drive and a trigger circuit, just have to get the parts and test it!
I'll keep you posted on how it goes and when it works I'll post the schematics :D

Flexmod 1 is a TTL driver, thats why i bought it ;D now i want to make my own 8-)

It wont be too hard at all, all you really need is a DDL driver circuit, and throw in a 2N3904 or 2N2222 switching transistor and your good to go!

but the good thing about the flexmod is its also analog which is very good to have if you are doing multiple colors

What colour are you using it with?

I may build a blue ray module in a few weeks time.

803t bluray, got the driver today, just waiting for the diode :'(

Here's a schematic from PhotonLexicon, its a TTL driver.... enjoy!
