Colour laser - ILD playback slow

Hey laserers.. I just received one of these colour lasers as a birthday present. Great fun, but having problems projecting custom made ILD files. It appears that they're playing back too slow. If I create a single frame ILD with some basic text, the device traces it correctly, but sits on each point for about 5 seconds!

I've tried the included software - Laser Controller - which seems to be very buggy under Windows 7... can't get an ILD file exported at all.

The software I'm using is NLS, seems to work fine other than the symptoms described above.

Could this be a format related issue (I see there are a number of different versions of the ILD file format)? Any advice on troubleshooting, or alternative software to try? Would ILD SOS be of any use in this scenario?

Cheers!

Yeah the output rate is set within a text file, adjusting it seems to have no effect.

In NLS, do the driver(s) need to be load after setup?
My Win 7 didn't seem to load any drivers.

Good chance you have waayyyyy too many points in your frame, and that cheap projector simply can't draw all the points fast enough. Most softwares actually add extra points to places like corners to keep them sharp.

Monof----
Did you get NLS running?
I can't find the Frame Streamer Express drivers
which the program seems to need.

Still no luck mike... i'll try Things suggestion of removing some points, although i suspect it wont work.

I can't even manage to export animations that come pre-loaded on the SD card successfully - same issue.
