Jeremy at Entteck didn't know that his DMX box can control a laser !! I gave him a heads up and invited him over here.
I just spent 30+minutes "watching" Moody Blues in my back yard using audio input !! About 50% of the time, It tracks and anticipates the music --- NICE.
Beam Shots ??? It's hard to get.

No I asked him for a LPF discount !! He didn't know a laser could be controled by his box -- I'm trying to get him over here and telling him that "you da man" for this laser projector.

How much control of the RGY do you get with your system ? Can you draw a "flower" or do you only control the programmed patterns ?? Can that software be used to create a show ??
I still need to get control of the machine to read continuous laser current and power so "adjustments" MIGHT be made. I can't read power or current when the damn thing is jiving around....

it gives you control over the colour, for example, you can set it for red, green, yellow, red & green, yellow & red, green & yellow, RGY and moving RGY. you can only control the preset patterns, but in DMX control, you have access to other patterns that don't normally appear on auto or sound mode. the software i'm using at the moment can't create a show, but ones that do cost a fair bit of $. the software that comes with the DMX box can create a show, but it will only output DMX signals for the first 12 hours, then you have to register, or install it on another computer or get some other software

I may just have t get what you have in order to get a steady beam for power / mA measurements.
I like the patterns I get (about 52 of them) but I didn't know there are more !!

ok guys! next week, i'm taking my laser show to a thing with about 800 kids there. i'm kinda worried that it will not be bright enough, but due to the fog, i may just get away with pointing it into the crowd(not saying i am, but if i can't see it overhead i might have too).
what i'm going to do is take it there, and set it up so it's pointing overhead, then i'm going to put some fog in the room, and see if its visible enough, if not, i'll point it down to where the crowd would be and try it again, if it's still bright, i'll move it slightly above their heads and hope for the best. i have to get that done, aswell as mount some other effect lights and some cans. this should be fun!!
