Chinese Department Store

i have seen the scanner kits from the Chinese Department Store website!

1) but are they any good?

2) what effects can they create?

3) can they be controlled from the computer?

4) PRO's and CON's?

5) photographs or videos of completed shows!

6) any additional information i should know!

It would be more cost efficient for you to purchase the Scanpro20kpps from lasershowpart.com. These scanners have been reviewed on PL forums. chinese dept store stuff seems crappy to me and they hardly list any specs.

I have the 20k kit, I spent a lot of time modifying it to work to my satisfaction, I am very happy with it now. BUT be warned the info on the web site bears little resemblance to the actuality. You need to do much more "than just add a laser to have a working scanner" (as stated by CDS).....see this thread.
