WOOT! I now have a test laser. so just need my ILDA breakout board and I can try the DT40W.
this sorry little 150mw green laser had a TTL driver. I replaced it with a flexmod. Its lasing threshold is 250ma, and full bore is about 1.0 amps. Of course I gave it a touch more (1.2), just for a bit more power.
here connected to a flexmod, power control at maximum (modulation line hooked to the supply +)
Obligitory beam shot - no fog, I'm not having a cigarette, thats just a bit of dust in the air. I'm sure this will look impressive with the room fogged a bit, and keep me motivated to save for that 1/2 watt green

Test mock setup for when the breakout board arrives. Dont worry, galvos are covered, only uncovered for the photo. Man those amps are huge!

I was without internet for about 2 days the other day, due to the cyclone. It gave me time to incorporate the new lasers into my case. It's amazing what I managed to fit in the little 2U case
The wiring could do with a bit of a clean up, unfortunately the laser cables arent quite long enough to run around the back of the case, so cut right thru, making everything messy.

Looks great things - gonna start saving for that 800 mw laserwave green next payday - gonna get the lasers first, and get the FB3 last (as I already have a dac and software, which I can use for the 2 weeks it'll take me to get the cash together for an fb3
edit: I can only see one galvo amp - where is the other hiding.

^I'm not sure about the first, but the second is a laserwave driver.

second that - cable ties are one of the best inventions. Keeps wiring tidy (and in my case, out of gears and rotor blades LOL)

The DT25s only have one single discrete amp board, both amps share a PCB.
The small PCB is a Die4Drive analog driver. I believe it was for the old blue module, I have no idea what it's doing there. Also, the smallest of the modules is the blue (the last in the optics train). That, or it's a voltage step-down converter of some description, to run fans and other auxiliary 5V components from a 12V AUX PSU.
The large PCB behind the red and green lasers is a LaserWave laser driver, most likely for the blue. The red and green both have 'boxed' drivers, which have their own housings.
The little PCB is actually a LM317 voltage controller I use to power the fan from the 24V galvo PSU.

Yes I am sure you want to go desoldering the plugs and lengthening the wires on your $100s of dollars worth of lasers

Heres an update - baseplate has arrived, all the support rails are in, and a quick overview of the optical layout. This may change as parts are acquired.
Note that that bounce mirror (from my defunct 500mw laser show) wont be used, a quality mount and mirror will be purchased from LSP. The 150mw green laser is for show only - and wont be used. I am getting a 500 mw green laser in a few weeks. Then I can start construction.
The green laser will be placed as far as possible to the left (in the image above, bounced off the mirror and down the dichros and onto the scanners. Then the blue will be beside it, and the weak link, 600mw of 640nm will be next to that (rightmost laser).
Power supplies are going to be fun to fit. I will be mounting my amp boards vertically where they are now, and to tune if needed, I just remove the projectors rear panel.

Your avatar makes me wait anxiously for thor to be ready. What is the 500mW greenie you will get? I'm not into projectors really but O-like has very good ones.

I believe he's getting a laserwave green. O-like, to my knowledge, doesn't manufacturer an analog modulated high power green for projector use.
