I am planing to build a basic diffraction grating laser, with a 495 nm and a 650 nm laser. It will have two 13,500 lines per inch diffraction gratings, and I have a few questions.
1) How much power do I need? I am hoping to make it "eye safe" and not some killer laser from a horror movie.
2) Which diffraction grating should be rotated for the best effect? The one close to the laser, or the far one?
3) Can I have 2 lasers running through a diffraction grating at the same time
When the parts some I will post some pics
I own one of these, and I want to make a couple more colors to go along with it. Not sure about the mW on the green one I linked to, the site says 10 mW, the box says 20mW, and the warning says < 1 mW
