yes i have, it works great.

What are you using for a DAC and how well does the diode/driver work up to raster?

"Analog/TTL Modulatable Laser Driver For Diodes 20mA to 5A."

It's analog.

Yeah, I'll be using a PHR-803T on that driver with analogue :D Gonna be good ;)

I'm thinking of even getting another one of those drivers and running a long open can for the red. Run it at a nice safe 200mW and you've got a nice high powered analogue red for a fraction of the cost :)

for a dac you use the DrLava/laserboy audio dac amp.

Actually, I use a QM2K for a DAC, I was just wondering how well that driver worked with 405nm diodes all the way up to raster speeds.

FB3 is my goal ;D

The FB3 is a very nice entry level product that is built with the quality you'd expect from Pangolin. Getting a QM2K is not that much more expensive though. The intro cards list price is $1495, which is the MSRP price, but you can get it for a few hundred cheaper if you buy one from the right person.

i did a raster scan with my 405nm diode and flexmod over the weekend. i dont have a video or picture but i can take one. it worked quite well! the modulation was impressive especially for the price!

djz are you going to flem?

Interesting, glad to hear it worked well. I need to order one to check it out, just haven't gotten around to it. Yes, I plan on going to FLEM, which is only about 2 hours away from me! Are you going to FLEM? If so, will you be bringing this 405nm projector with you?
